I am a habitual tab hoarder so I created a Firefox addon to help me manage every one of my very special browser tabs.

Screenshot of List All Tabs (light mode) showing 306 open tabs (137 active and 169 unloaded)

Sort tabs by oldest, unload them, find duplicates, and consolidate tabs to a single window — buncha useful stuff in there!

Features

  • Go directly to a tab by clicking on it.
  • Shows Duplicate tabs (any tab opened more than once)
  • A special section to show any tabs currently playing audio (video counts if not muted) (new in v1.5)
  • Supports Multi-account containers (and shows with the color of the container too)
  • Search/filter tabs by title, URL or container name.
  • Sort tabs by tab order, least recently used or most recently used.
  • Full Undo and redo support (new in v1.5)
  • A new purgatory-style Saved section to close tabs you may want to restore later (new in v1.5)
  • Toggles to show/hide Unloaded and Pinned tabs.
  • Merge consolidates all a group’s tabs into a new window.
  • Tabs you haven’t used for a week or more show a stale time difference (e.g. 2w or 3mo).
  • Light and dark modes.
  • Pinned tabs are denoted and listed last (by design, pinned tabs are indestructible and cannot be operated on).
  • about:blank tabs are ignored.
