    @m_ott Ah, right on—good question. Yeah as far as I know per spec crossorigin is the same as crossorigin="anonymous". See: html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/urls-and-fetching.html#cors-settings-attribute (via developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/CORS_settings_attributes)
