@IgnaciodeNuevo I wouldn’t want to be too prescriptive with recommending a specific performance budget for these things. Lots of variables: how they’re used in the design, character set requirements, OS/browser support, CSS loading strategies in place, etc etc.On twitter.com

@IgnaciodeNuevo The best thing is to experiment and measure, so you know the actual render cost you’re paying for each font (and font feature, even, if you’re fancy). If you’re two-stage loading, play with getting that first render as quick as possible & second stage as comprehensive as possiblePermalink On twitter.com
